Sonika Vuyyuru

Hello delegates!  My name is Sonika Vuyyuru and I’m super excited and honored to be serving as your Head Chair for BMUN 70! I am a second-year student at Cal studying Cognitive Science and Computer Science. I’m originally from Northern Virginia, but now call Berkeley home. Outside of BMUN, you can find me playing tennis, exploring new genres of music, or failing at convincing my roommates I know how to cook. Joining MUN in high school was one of the most impactful decisions I’ve ever made. It pushed me to develop valuable skills, whether that be public speaking or writing and researching, and helped me grow as an individual. I have always enjoyed traveling to conferences and made countless friends from all over the world, all while debating exciting global issues. I encourage everyone to embrace BMUN not only as an academic learning experience, but also as an opportunity to grow as an individual.  In this blog, you can expect posts with logistics about conference as well...
